Although the current condition of humanity in terms of its possible evolution may seem rather grim, it must be remembered that it is the birthright of every human being to develop. All of the qualities we tend to attribute to ourselves in our fantasy, such as consciousness, individuality, will, clairvoyance, continuance after death, etc.. are all within the realms of possibility for a developed person.
Everything in nature operates by two fundamental laws; the Law of Seven and The Law of Three. This includes the process or journey of development which is divided into seven levels. It should be noted that although levels 4,5,6, and 7 constitute higher levels of development, levels 1,2 and 3 are neither higher nor lower than each other. They are simply different in that the center of gravity for Man #1 is in the body, Man #2 in the emotions, and Man #3 in his thoughts. That is not to say, for example, that a man centered in his body does not think or emote; it simply means he tends to approach life through his Moving Center.
And now, for each of the seven levels:
Center of gravity in the Moving Center. Learns by imitation and instinct, and sensations.
Center of gravity in the Emotional Center. Strong emphasis on likes and dislikes. Sentimental and emotional.
The Center of gravity is in the Thinking Center. Theories, mental constructs, systems, and proofs. Rational and Theoretical.
The Center of gravity is in self-observation and knowledge of one's aim. Centers are balanced. It cannot happen by accident but only by coming into contact with a genuine esoteric school.
Has obtained a genuine sense of unity. A crystallized "I" that cannot go back accidentally to previous levels of development. What is known is known with the whole being.
Complete knowledge, but not yet crystallized - can be lost. Intuitive knowledge.
Fullest development. Completely conscious. Permanent and unchanging "I." Individuality. Immortality. Will.
Many respects,
Pierce!
